About Moose Industries

Moose Industries was established in Kimba, South Australia in 1997 by Nigel "Moose" Eckermann, who, with a background in precision engineering and innovation began building an engineering and machinery manufacturing business.

The business began as a one man operation, under the name of Mooses Metalwork's, and with a focus on quality, durability and user friendliness the business grew rapidly within the surrounding farming districts, becoming a major employer in the region.

In 2009, the business name was changed, to coincide with the development of new products, and the changing nature of the business.

2010 saw the beginning of a new partnership between Nigel Eckermann, Matt Lienert and families. The combination of 2 engineering businesses, as well as Matt's background in farming and soil improvement, gives Moose Industries a solid foundation for the development of agricultural products.

Moose Industries can offer clients a comprehensive range of services, including fabrication, machining, sheet metal, site work (including remote sites) and building and construction.
